Coed 4s Grass Volleyball Tournament

Bring your best four — two men, two women — and battle it out on the grass for a shot at the top prize. Whether you're a seasoned club squad or a competitive recreational team looking for your next challenge, this is your chance to compete for serious money in a fun outdoor setting at Polynesian Days Utah.

 1st place - $1,000

 2nd place - $500

 3rd place - $350

Teams will compete in pool play followed by a single-elimination bracket. All matches are played on natural grass — so dust off your diving skills and get ready to get dirty.

*Format and pool structure will be determined by final registration numbers.

Rules –

• Format: Coed 4v4 grass volleyball; roster up to 6. Minimum 2 females and 2 males on the court at all times (2F/2M).
• Scoring (Pool & Crossover): Rally scoring to 21 points, win by 2. Match cap: 2 sets max OR 45-minute hard cap.
• Scoring (Playoffs): Best-of-3 sets: 21 / 21 / 15 (win by 2).
• No Open-Hand Tipping: No open-hand tips/dinks. Attacks must be a roll shot or hard-driven attack (no soft open-hand placement).
• Officiating: No certified officials. Teams self-officiate when assigned (ref rotation). Tournament staff may resolve disputes.
• Ref Rotation: On each court rotation: 2 teams play, 1 team refs, 1 team bye.
• Eligibility & Rosters: All players must be registered before play. Late registration applies within 3 days of the event. Minimum 4 registered players to compete, Max 6. Teams must contain as many or more females as males.
• Uniforms: Every team should try and match each other as best.
• Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in a point penalty, match forfeit, or removal (no refund).
• Equipment/Safety: Grass courts. No metal cleats. Players are responsible for hydration and warm-up.
• Additional Rules:
• Players are free to position themselves anywhere within their court. There are no positional faults; only the server must rotate, and the serving position must rotate from one gender to the other. -
• If the ball is contacted more than once by a team a female player must make at least one of the contacts
• Let serves are legal in Coed 4’s
